CHRIS BOZEL, MA LLPC

Education

Chris has a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Central Michigan University. He is currently working on his Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision at Western Michigan University.

Experience

Chris has experience providing counseling for children, adolescents, groups, couples, and families in a variety of mental health settings. He is a strong advocate and ally for oppressed groups.

BRENDA HENRY, RECOVERY COACH

Education

Brenda has her Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration from Kalamazoo Valley Community College. She is also certified as Recovery Coach recieving her traininfrom Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery. 

Experience

Brenda has 22 years of sobriety from drugs and alcohol. Her desire is to help others gain and maintain their 

sobriety by providing emotional support and helping them make healthy connections within the community.

SUE KOHL, MA, LLP

Education

Sue has a master's degree in Counseling Education/Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University. She is also a Certified Addictions Counselor. 

Experience

Sue has over the past 25 years of working in a variety of substance abuse and mental health settings. Sue joined GFM The Synergy Center in November 2012 where she practices outpatient therapy with clients suffering from addictions and mental health issues.

Speciality

Substance abuse, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, anger management, grief and loss.  Michigan Driver's License reinstatement, domestic violence 

PRINCILLA URSERY, MA LLPC, NCC, IMH-E(I)

Education
Princilla is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Substance Abuse Certification. She is currently working on completing her Gerontology Certification at Western Michigan University.

Experience

Princilla specialize in providing multicultural counseling for children, adolescents, adults, and groups in a variety of mental health settings. She is a strong advocate for marginalized and disenfranchised population.

CINDY VANDERWEELE, MSW, LLMSW 

Education

Cindy has a double Bachelor's degree in both  Sociology and Political Science from Western Michigan as well as her Masters in Social Work with a SPADA certification..

Experience

Cindy has experience with families, teenagers and couples. She also has worked extensively with the LGBT community. She works as a life coach for a diverse population.

Cindy has worked with a diverse population within the community.  She has also worked extensively with those with anxiety, depression, gender dysphoria, eating disorders and substance use disorders.
